Our door
opens 15 minutes before each practice period, for welcome and
orientation. Please
arrive 15 minutes early if you are new
to the Center or to Zen practice.
Sunday evening – 7:30 to
9:15 pm: Zazen, chanting service and dharma
talk. (Dokusan offered first Sunday of every month*)
Monday morning – 7:30 to 8:30 am: Zazen
Tuesday morning – 6:30 to 7:30 am: Zazen
Wednesday morning – 7:30 to 8:30 am: Zazen
Thursday morning – 6:30 to 7:30 am: Zazen
Thursday evening – 8:30 to 9:30 pm: Zazen
Friday morning – 6:30 to 8:00 am: Zazen and dokusan*
And please join us for our Monday evening practice period -- 5:30 to
6:30 pm at the First Unitarian Church, 90 Main St.,
Worcester: Zazen and dharma talk.

* dokusan – individual
meetings with David Dayan Rynick Sensei or Melissa Myozen Blacker
Sensei may be requested at any time, and are offered regularly during
some weekly practice periods (when the teachers are in residence), at
all Saturday practice periods, and at sesshin.
There is no charge for weekly practice periods or for individual
meetings. However, donations (dana) of any amount are gratefully
accepted. All donations are used to provide a stipend for the teachers,
pay for the rent and maintenance of facilities, and to support the work
of the Worcester Zen Community and Boundless Way Zen.
Fall
2009 Saturday Practice Period
November 21
- Saturday
practice periods are held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Worcester Zen
Center/Boundless Way Temple, and include zazen, chanting, and dokusan
(individual meetings with the teachers.)
- Participants
may
come for any part of the day on Saturday.
- Please
bring
sitting cushions if you have them, and your lunch.
